PM Modi’s election affidavit- India’s Prime Minister has ₹4142 in his savings bank account

After holding mega road show in Varanasi, Prime Minister on Friday filed his nomination from Varanasi Lok sabha constituency. In affidavit filed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Lok Sabha elections 2019, PM Modi declared that he does not hold any commercial property, agriculture or non agriculture land. He declared that he does not own any car. In his affidavit he declared that he has total bank balance of ₹4142 and has cash in hand of ₹38,750.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi owns a residential plot of 3531 sq ft in Gandhinagar. He has fixed deposit in SBI of ₹1.27 crore, has invested ₹20,000 in tax savings infra bonds, ₹7.61 lakh in national saving certificate and has life insurance policy investment of ₹1.9 lakh in LIC. Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds four gold rings worth ₹113,800.

In his affidavit Prime Minister Narendra Modi has named Jashodaben as his wife and in his education qualification he has declared MA Degree from Gujarat University in 1983. He also declared that he is art graduate from Delhi University.
